Bringing the heart into anger

FEAR. A reality check
29th March 2020In these here uncertain times, I want to offer you some tools and resources to help maintain your mental wellbeing.
I AM GOING TO DONATE A CHUNK OF MY TIME TO HELPING AS MANY PEOPLE AS I CAN TO MANAGE THEIR MENTAL WELLBEING.
The best and safest way I can do this is digitally. You are not unusual if this is all feeling a bit too much, your mind might be full of worry, and you may well be experiencing symptoms of anxiety and stress. I know I certainly had to catch myself and RAMP up my own self-care to ensure my mental wellbeing was in good shape to help others.
SELF CARE is crucial here. The mind and body are connected, and stress can manifest illness, so let’s stay healthy and happy together.
I’m going to create a community of people who I will bring together digitally via a webinar platform, so if you’re self-isolating, feeling worried, or overwhelmed, this will be a space to ask questions, learn tools and strategies to get you through this.
We are particularly aiming this at parents and young people impacted by the school closures, but everyone is of course welcome – the strategies will be just as relevant.
I will also host a wee Q&A section at the end, so I can perhaps address things that one person might ask but many of you are feeling.
I’d really encourage you to join this community. I want to offer you a place to feel safe and calm for however long this takes. It’s FREE, and if nothing else you can escape the madness.
