Truly the best time I have ever spent on myself.  I spent 50 years believing I was worthless and useless, and I felt depressed, and alone. I was looking for a change and was recommended to try cognitive behavioural therapy by a friend of mine. Working with my therapist, Nicola, at the Talking Rooms, I was able to learn about myself, my thoughts and how I treated myself and how I thought A LOT about others, and what people thought of me. The work we did was challenging, but I always felt the work was carried out at an appropriate pace, and the discovery and insight that is generated in such a short space of time, was incredible.
Ultimately when we finished our work together I felt like a much better version of who I used to be.  I couldn’t recommend this highly enough!

I was so socially anxious, that it was crippling me in every aspect of my life. I struggled at work, and in every relationship in my life, I learned about my thinking styles in therapy and how could cognitive behavioural therapy could help me. I felt safe and secure to disclose parts of myself to Ann-Louise, my therapist, and through this honest genuine work, I had incredible insight and breakthroughs into my life. After twelve sessions, life has changed and dramatically improved for me! I never thought it could change, but with the support of Ann-Louise and the team at The Talking Rooms, my life is something I look forward to every single day.
